Ben

This page has being set-up in loving memory of Just Ben. Ben is a bay Irish Draught cross, who is just over 16,2 HH. Unfortunately, on the 30th September 2007 he had to be put to sleep due to an illness he had had believed to be from a young age. During the 16 months that we owned him, we were getting along really well, and on the 26th April 2007, he attended the first show he had been to in years. He was safe to work around, brilliant with kids and was loved by everybody.

When we got him he was severely overweight and could only manage around 10 - 15 minutes in the school before the sweat was dripping off him. He would do anything to get out of work, from running around the field for ages not wanting to be brought in to constantly stopping at the gate in the school thinking it was time to come out.
